HORIZONTAL RED SCARF & HAT:
1/250Gr. tote of Ambrosia
Needles #10
With #10 needle and Ambrosia, Cast on 220sts. Work in Garter St. as follows:
Row 1: Knit across the row.
Row 2: K1 Increasing in stitch. Knit until 3sts remain.
K2-tog,K1.
Repeat 2 row pattern until enough yarn remains to bind off.
If hat is to be worked from same ball, leave enough yarn to work
hat or make hat first. Bind off in pattern.
RED GARTER HAT:
With #10 needle and Ambrosia, Cast on 80sts. Work in K2/P2Rib St. for 1 1/2”.
Change to Garter St. in the round, decreasing 11sts evenly across the first row.
Continue in Garter St. for 6”.
Work as follows:
Round 1:*K2-tog,K1*. Rep *to* around.
Round 2: Knit 1 row.
Round 3: K2-tog,K1*. Rep *to* around.
Round 4: Knit 1 row.
Round 5: K2-tog,K1*. Rep *to* around.
Round 6: Knit 1 row.
Cut long tail. Thread tail through large eye sewing needle and
run through each remaining stitch on the needle. Remove needle
and pull thread to gather and close.
GREEN BUTTERFLY SCARF & DIAGONAL HAT:
1/250gr. tote of Ambrosia
Needles #10
With #10 needle and Ambrosia, Cast on 35sts. Work in Garter St. as follows:
Row 1,3: (WS) K2, *P5,K3*. Rep *to*, end P5,K2.
Row 2: K2, *Wyif Sl.5,K3*. Rep *to*, end Sl.5,K2.
Row 4: K5, *Insert needle under loose strand and knit next stitch on left needle, K7*. Rep *to*, end last rep K4.
Continue in pattern until enough yarn remains to bind off. If hat is to be worked from same ball, leave enough yarn to
make hat or make hat first. Bind off in pattern.
GREEN DIAGONAL HAT:
With #10 needle and Ambrosia, Cast on 22sts. Work in pattern as follows:
Row 1: K1 Increasing in stitch. Knit until 2sts remain. K2-tog.
Row 2: Knit across the row.
Work in pattern until piece is 20” or piece fits comfortably around your head.
Bind off in pattern leaving a long tail.
With #10 needle and Ambrosia, Pick up 60sts along one long edge. (opposite edge from tail.) Work in K1/P1 Rib St. for
1”. Bind off in pattern. Thread tail into sewing needle with large eye. Run tail along the full edge in up/down motion and
pull tail to gather hat and draw in. Knot and bury tail. Sew side seam of hat closed.
